In August 2017, I founded KOLNA NEMCHIW, a walking club based in La Marsa, Tunisia. The concept proved highly popular, resonating with Tunisiens' interest in health and community. Word quickly spread, enabling the expansion of walking groups across Tunisia.
In July 2018 —nearly one year after launching the initial club— KOLNA NEMCHIW was officially established as an association under Tunisian law.
What began as a single walking club had evolved into a nationwide network, harnessing the power of communal physical activity to bring Tunisians together and promote well-being across regions. The Association status would support KOLNA NEMCHIW's continued growth and institutionalization as a leading health and social movement in the country.
I furthered my ambition to empower communities through sports by joining the African Regional Body of TAFISA, the worldwide governing body for sport for all.
Kolna Nemchiw was an immediate success, allowing participants of all ages and backgrounds to improve their physical and mental health while bonding over shared walks.
I brought my passion for empowering youth through sport to the boxing sector in 2017. In that year, I was elected to serve on the board of the Tunisian Boxing Federation.
I took on few administrative roles within the club of Avenir Sportif de la Marsa and the Tunisian Athletics Federation. This experience refined my expertise in sports operations and organizational development.
I competed actively in Tennis and Track & Field, participating in numerous regional and national competitions. This competitive experience refined my skills and passion for sports development.
